Tralonne R. Shorter is the creator of Dearly B. Loved, a blog devoted to redefining the social dialogue around healthy, loving relationships. Tralonne is also the President and Founder of Beloved Community, LLC, a Washington, DC based boutique political networking and strategy firm that specializes in building civic engagement in communities through government relations, issue advocacy and Capitol tourism. She is a social justice advocate with a distinguished 13-year career having worked as a non-profit government relations consultant, lobbyist, and senior advisor to various elected officials. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively on major social justice issues addressing domestic violence, child abuse, education reform, offender re-entry, workforce development, affordable housing, health care and economic development. She is a New Jersey native, holds a B.A. from Howard University and currently resides in Washington, DC.
